Is it true that OG was full of fanboys saying “I’m not racist, but…” and questioning the logic of the Doctor changing colour on regeneration? Because, of course, the regeneration process obeys all known laws of logic, physics and biology.

I’m quietly of the opinion that I don’t want to see David Tennant regenerate into Patterson Joseph. I’d love it if DT simply piloted the TARDIS into a sunset and then have PT turn up ‘Rose’-style in the first episode of the new series.

It is a very good sip of the tongue though. He doesn’t list any of the shows the other actors are in and says it in a very matter of fact way as though it’s common knowledge already before heroically trying to pull it back.

I did hear that Paddy Power have suspended betting on Paterson getting the role. Someone that I know managed to get a £20 bet on him at 25-1 a few weeks ago too.
