I have tried to reaearch BBC salaries online and not found a complete answer: I am under the impression from BBC pay scales that a producer earns £ 50-70,000 a year basic and the last time I had a definite guide to pay for producers was in a 1991 copy of Ariel that I saw in 1991 at Radio Cumbria where the BBC was offering £ 41,000 a year for a current affairs producer in London.
