New Doctor Who to be announced tomorrow

Not much more to add about this story on the BBC site…
…Other than who do you think it’s going to be? I’m sticking with Paterson Joseph. Although, if I’m allowed to hedge, I did pass Michael Sheen on the way to the Doctor Who Christmas episode press launch in December.
Record numbers are surely predicted for Doctor Who Confidential, though. Right?
Prehaps it’ll be Jeremy Clarkson? ;) hehe!
Ljones
I hope your hedge about Michael Sheen is right. He’s been my favourite for quite a while, but is he too big a star for the role now? Also, I read somewhere that he would be terrified to take over from David Tennant, but that was before he announced he was leaving. I hope he changed his mind…
It’s all a question of whether a Michael Sheen would want to spend so long tied up to one project. It’s work and actors are beggars etc. but surely he’s firmly migrated to film.
Then again, Tennant is always joking about regenerating into him during podcasts.
Michael Sheen? As the Master, maybe… but as the Doctor, hell no.
I think that Chiwetel Ejiofor is probably a strong bet still, and the film Kinky Boots in which he appears in on tomorrow night…
Other than him, some chap called Matt Smith is apparently sending all of the bookies all of a flurry.
