Doctor, who?

Wednesday, May 3, 2006 by

Right, we know the form by now. I go to a Doctor Who launch then, gradually as I transcribe the roundtables, dump some of the off-cuts on here. So, let the offal tray take its first delivery courtesy of Camille Coduri talking about David Tennant’s success in stepping into the title role.

“It was almost as though he’d always been there, David. I’ll never forget his first day of filming, he got a huge cheer after the first shot in his pyjamas. It was like, ‘Yes! He’s here, he’s arrived!’.

“It was almost like he’d always been there, funnily enough. All due respect to Chris [Eccleston], but, you know, he was quickly forgotten. [Laughs] In a nice way.”
