Callan’s off to Walford.
I would never have seen this coming in a million years, but The Wicker Man‘s Edward Woodward has joined the cast of EastEnders. I presume that he’ll only pay a short-lived character, but hey, what a coup for the show!

Perhaps he is going undercover for the secret service and is bringing Lonely with him. Callan has been informed by Lonely that Heather is secretly working for Al Qaeda and has been ordered to carry out her execution.
